Why do you think some people believe this Barack Obama poster by Shepard Fairy was one of the most sophisticated marketing ideas of our century? How does this Obama image make you feel about our next American president? Also, how can you tell the artist was inspired by Andy Warhol's work?
Graphic Artist's backgound: Shepard Fairy, born Feb. 15, 1970 in South Carolina...attended various art schools until he established his own company, Alternate Graphics.

How does ART influence YOUR life?

Art is a ray of sunshine in my life...It is a passion and a way I can escape in a positive way. I love to see my creations hanging on a wall, but even more so, I love to see my students take pride in what THEY can accomplish. I believe that an artist exists in everyone, but that only a few gems exhibit the passion and the determination to become one.
